McHenry Yarn Lovers

Meets every Tuesday and Friday night.

Panera Bread Restaurant in McHenry, IL.

5:30 pm until closing every week all year.

The group is very informal, held together by a core group of friends who knit and crochet at all levels of skill and knowledge from raw beginners to accomplished lace and colorwork. A friendly bunch, they welcome drop in’s, newbies, experienced or those who have never held a hook or needle. You can always find help for that tricky pattern, choosing the right color or yarn, learning a new stitch. We just sit, craft, nibble goodies and share stories. Occasionally we go to a yarn show or do a yarn crawl together, but mostly it’s just a yarn-a-holics night out.

Majority are Ravelry members, except for a few non- computer users, but we mostly keep in touch via facebook online.
